Maria and I went to one of my favorite places, the Triple George Grill the other night after work. We sat in the lounge to have a drink before eating, but enjoyed the music so much we decided to eat in the lounge. The gentleman who shines shoes was singing along with the fellow playing the piano. It was an informal, completely enjoyable and relaxing way to spend a couple of hours before going home.
It turns out that the man at the piano was Larry White. He took a break from playing and spent a few minutes telling us about his record company, Newport Pacific Records and their upcoming Jazz Festival. It turns out Larry is a very accomplished artist and a heck of a nice guy who is very proud of his family.
You never know who you’ll meet here in Vegas.
